Meet the Doctors

Myung Soo Choi, DDS

Dr. Choi is originally from Korea where he studied and practiced general dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery for more than twenty years. In 2006, Dr. Choi relocated to the United States where he completed an internship in implant dentistry, certification in periodontics, and earned a Master’s degree in Periodontics from Loma Linda University. Dr. Choi is trained and experienced in numerous advanced and specialty dentistry procedures, so our patients receive the highest quality care in a wide-array of dental services. Dr. Choi holds a Class III Texas State Conscious Sedation Permit that allows him to safely offer patients moderate sedation during dental treatments. He is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Well respected by his peers, Dr. Choi received the Outstanding Resident Award by the Western Society of Medicine in 2010, and earned diplomate status in the American Academy of Periodontology, as well as the Korean Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Korean Academy of Maxillofacial Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of numerous professional organizations including the Academy of Osseointegration, California Society of Periodontists, and European Academy of Osseointegration.

Kevin Nguyen, DDS

Dr. Kevin Nguyen grew up in Garland, TX where he attended North Garland High School and the Texas Academy of Math and Science. Following graduation, he moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas, graduating with a BS in neurobiology and minor in computer science. Following his time in Austin, he went on to attend Tufts University in Boston for dental school. After 4 long years, he couldn’t wait to return home to the DFW area to be reunited with his family and friends.

Dr. Kevin considers himself a lifetime student and spends time keeping up to date on the latest methods, materials and technologies. He is dedicated to staying on the cutting edge to provide a better and easier experience for his patients. His favorite part of the job is meeting new people and listening to everyone’s unique stories.

Outside of work, Dr. Kevin and his wife enjoy traveling when they get the chance and trying new experiences and foods. National parks and hiking are their latest obsessions, where there is great opportunity for amazing photography. When he isn’t at work, you can probably find him at the gym, watching movies or helping his wife try out the latest recipes.
